She passed away on Christmas day last year.
One Pound Vinyl
I have started a new blog with my boyfriend, it’s called One Pound Vinyl and doesn’t exactly what it says on the label. Our favourite thing to do is scour markets and charity shops trying to out-do each other with our music finds. We have started a blog to catalogue what we find, where we find it and how much we paid for it.
Expect loads of 90s Hip Hop / New Jack Swing / Garage, 80s Chicago House / Hip House / Electro, 70s Disco and any other oddities we come across in our searches.
I will obviously be updating this blog as normal!

This still makes me so happy everytime I see it. It’s just brilliant. Shame most of todays kids are just so bland, no more practicing dance routines before you hit the clubs, no more trying to stand apart from your friends with the flyest threads. Sure they were following a trend but at least they built their own style.
Nowadays kids wear what they see celebrities wearing, be it an American hip hop star or an English footballers wife. Boriiing! And new music, the music that young people are into just seems to lack vibrance and energy. Could you imagine these kids dancing to a tune by Kanye? Forget it.
I know I’ve posted dance energy a million time before but it just needs busting out every so often to keep it fresh!
